How are your knives produced?
CAD design, functionality and prototyping are carried out in Switzerland.

We take great care in detail and production follow-up so that each piece is perfect.
​
For example, we apply thread-locking glue to each screw that requires it in order to provide optimal locking torque.
​
We take great care in every detail. All dagueart knives are checked
rigorous quality before being sent.
What materials are your knives made of?
The materials that make up our knives have been carefully selected according to several criteria: durability, value for money and environmental impact. Thus, the materials selected guarantee exceptional longevity, but also a possibility of recycling close to 100%.

Where are your knives made?
Our knives are designated and designed entirely in Switzerland. The various components are subcontracted abroad for their production.
Fresh delivery
What are the payment methods offered by Dagueart.com?
The means of payment are indicated at the last stage of the ordering process. These may be removed, modified or added at any time without notice.
What are the costs for delivery?
For all orders on Swiss territory, delivery is free. All shipments outside Switzerland are invoiced according to the prices of our shipping partners.

The price of the shipping costs will be indicated to you in the summary of your order just before you can proceed to payment.
What is the delay between the order and the sending of my knife?
The delivery time on Swiss territory is 72 hours. For any destination other than Switzerland, the delay is variable. It will always be communicated to you when you place your order.

When a customization is applied, the deadline may be extended by a few days. When an engraving request comprising an image, a logo or a symbol is requested, the delay will necessarily be longer.
The latter will be communicated to you following receipt of your logo/image/symbol.
Who bears the customs and VAT costs when shipping outside Switzerland?
It is the customer's responsibility to verify the fees and costs inherent and applicable to the country of receipt of the goods. dagueart only undertakes to mention exhaustively the costs and the description of the goods contained.
Maintenance
Does my knife fear water?
Dagueart knives are made of materials that are in principle stainless. A short immersion or passage under water will not cause them any damage.

However, be sure to dry them if they have been in contact with water or humidity in general.
​
Immersion in sea water is not recommended. This de facto cancels any guarantee.
Personalization
Is it possible to customize the knives?
We offer the possibility of inscribing a text by laser engraving when ordering.

On your request, we can carry out various further customizations, do not hesitate to contact us.contact. We look forward to responding to your request!
​I would like to have an image engraved. But it is of poor quality, will the result be impacted by the quality?
We rework each image even if it is of good quality. This is necessary so that the format, contours and contrast can be interpreted completely and correctly by our laser engraving software.
If your image is of poor quality (pixelated, unclear outline, blurred, etc.) we reproduce it in order to achieve an optimal graphic result compatible with laser engraving. At your request, we can even adjust it or modify it according to your wishes.
Why are your knives environmentally responsible?
The electricity used for the design (CAD design, prototype by 3D printing etc.) comes from renewable energies. All of the energy consumed for the manufacture and transport of articles is subject to offsetting of carbon emissions.

As we wish to align ourselves with an ecological and environmentally friendly approach, we have definitively renounced newsletters and other e-mail campaigns which lead to excessive energy consumption in terms of sending and storing data.
